The 37th season of the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) is tentatively scheduled to open on September 15 at the STI-West Negros University (STI-WNU) gym.
Prior to the event, a series of meetings will be conducted in order to ensure the competition runs smoothly. A meeting for sports moderators will take place on August 16, collegiate basketball coaches will meet on August 23, while an orientation for coaches will be conducted on August 25.
Meanwhile, with the recent dissolution of the Negros Island Region, there is speculation of a possible return of the Negros Occidental Palarong Panlalawigan./WDJ
