A suspected drug pusher was arrested by Police Station 8 (PS8) in a buy-bust operation at Purok Neptune, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, early Tuesday morning.
Police identified the suspect as 45-year-old Arnold Pahila, a resident of the said barangay.
PS8 commander, Police Senior Inspector Wilfredo Benoman, Jr., said Pahila was apprehended after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer, in exchange for P300.
Confiscated from Pahila were one elongated and one big sachet of suspected shabu, a bamboo stick used for clipping, several empty sachets, a coin purse, and P200 in different denominations believed to be proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.
Pahila was arrested in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and is now at the custodial facility of PS8./WDJ
