A man was caught in an anti-illegal gambling operation at Purok Medalla, Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City, Monday evening.
Police identified the suspect as 25-year-old John Rey Yulo, a resident of the said barangay.
According to reports, Yulo was arrested in an operation conducted by Police Station 9 (PS9), led by Police Senior Inspector Vernon John Llovido.
Confiscated from Yulo were nine Jai Alai tipsters with the code name ‘Goldwing,’ a betting stub with different number combinations, and P20 in different denominations believed to be bet money.
The suspect is facing illegal gambling charges and is now at the custodial facility of PS9./WDJ
