Judge Marketing and Antones Lines both recently registered wins in the ongoing Bing Uy Soyao Memorial Cup at the JGC Gym in the Goldenfield Commercial Complex.
Judge Marketing defeated J’ Trend Controls, 83-80; while Antones Lines beat Baciwa, 83-71.
Ariel Tornilla led Judge Marketing with 24 points, followed by Tata Denosta with 18, Toto Cordero – 17, and Stanley Dequit – 11. However, despite the loss, Bert Celis managed to score 25 points for J’ Trend Controls.
In the other game, Hermi Derwill and Wendell Fuentebella split 46 points for Antones Lines.
Prior to the games, an opening ceremony was held, with the widow of Basketball Unified Sports (BUS) Group co-founder Rogelio ‘Bing’ Soyao, Betty, on hand, alongside their son, Dr. Shearwin Soyao.
