A woman was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Pana-ad Access Road, Hillside Subdivision, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, Friday morning.
Police identified the woman as 34-year-old Maricel Mendoza, a resident of Purok Kabugwason in the said barangay.
Reports said the suspect was arrested in an operation conducted by Police Station 7 (PS7), led by Police Chief Inspector Charles Gever, together with the Regional Special Operations Task Group-18 (RSOTG-18), led by Police Inspector Joey Mara.
The suspect was apprehended after handing a small sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer, in exchange for P500.
Confiscated were two small sachets of suspected shabu; a disposable lighter; and P1,146 cash in different denominations, believed to be proceeds from drug sales.
Mendoza faces drug charges and is in the custody of PS7./WDJ
