A man was stabbed during a heated argument at Generoso Villanueva, Sr., Patricia Homes Subdivision, Barangay Granada, Bacolod City, Tuesday morning.
Police identified the victim as 57-year-old Rolando Dador, a resident of Purok Flora, Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City; and the suspect as 35-year-old Jerry Mayordomo, a resident of Purok Arao, Barangay Vista Alegre, Bacolod City.
Police Station 5 (PS5) commander, Police Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana, said a heated argument ensued between the two, resulting in Mayordomo stabbing Dador in the chest with a pointed object, which they suspect to be a screwdriver or ice pick.
The suspect immediately fled the scene, while the victim was brought to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for medical treatment.
The victim is currently in recovery, as PS5 conducts a hot pursuit operation against the suspect./WDJ
