After Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary for Public Safety Jesus Hinlo, Jr. confirmed there are ongoing talks of his transfer to the Land Bank of the Philippines, he said he would accept the offer.
“If the president decides to put me in Land Bank, I will wholeheartedly accept the invitation,” he stated. “It means the president has complete trust and confidence in me, since he wants me to take care of the government’s money.”
If the reassignment goes through, Hinlo would be one of the bank’s top officials and vowed to promote investment and heavy industrialization throughout the country./WDJ
