A suspected drug personality was gunned down by still unidentified suspects at Ylagan Extension, Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, late Wednesday evening.
Police identified the fatality as 21-year-old Marlon Hino, a resident of the said city.
San Carlos City police lead investigator, Senior Police Officer 1 (SPO1) Wilfredo Camanal, said Hino, along with his wife Jane, had just finished eating dinner when the victim went to the comfort room.
His wife later reported hearing gunshots near the comfort room and when she went to check, found the lifeless remains of her husband on the floor.
Camanal said Hino was killed after sustaining a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Cops recovered an empty .45 caliber shell at the crime scene, along with drug paraphernalia in the victim’s pocket.
San Carlos City police are now investigating the incident./WDJ
