The 1st Tan Kek Pin Badminton Memorial Cup will begin tomorrow at the Pohang Badminton Center.

The tournament is open to both men and women, with a variety of age-group categories, including Under-8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, Open, 35-Up, 40-Up, and 50-Up.

Tan was a member of the Bacolod-Chinese Badminton Club, now the Flying Eagle Badminton Club, and his family business bankrolled a basketball team in the 1960s in the Bacolod-Chinese League, later known as the Negros Basketball Association.
