Ceres-Negros FC midfielder Jason de Jong officially left the club and signed with Davao Aguilas FC over the weekend.
Ceres team manager James Dinsay confirmed the transfer but did not disclose the reason for switching clubs.
In an Instagram post, de Jong wrote, “Thank you to Boss [Leo Rey Yanson], Coach [Risto Vidaković], and the management for giving me the opportunity to play for one of the best clubs in Southeast Asia.”
Ceres and Davao are scheduled to meet this weekend, on July 22, and again on July 26./JSG, WDJ
