A Dutch national visited Police Station 1 (PS1) after he was mugged and shot by robbers along Burgos Street, Barangay 12, Bacolod City, Friday evening.
Police identified the complainant as 53-year-old Jalal Azimi.
According to an investigation by Duty Investigator, Police Officer 2 (PO2) Rafael Candaso, the victim rode a tricycle with a woman identified as “Rose” and a certain “Casandra.”
As they were travelling along Burgos Street, two men followed them and shot the complainant with an unknown caliber firearm.
Azimi was forced by the suspects to give up his body bag, which contained P150,000 worth of cash, credit cards, a mobile phone, travel documents, and other valuables.
All suspects, together with “Rose,” believed to be a companion of the assailants, fled on a tricycle.
Candaso added, the victim was uncooperative when he was offered medical assistance and refused to be admitted into the hospital.
Police have yet to identify the suspects except through the aliases provided by the victim./MIS, WDJ
