Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) acting director, Police Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky, believes the Camaria drug group supplied the drugs discovered in the recent Barangay 40 bust, where an estimated P1 million worth of shabu was seized.
Following investigations, the suspects in the case, 19-year-old Aisa Million, 24-year-old Rashel Tantua, and 24-year-old Nelrose Sulta, were found to have been in the business for a long time.
Wanky said he is currently seeking the assistance of Muslim leaders in the city to track down other drug personalities; along with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Negros Island Region (BJMP-NIR), as there are reports inmates of the Metro Bacolod District Jail (MBDJ) are still active in the drug trade while behind bars.
Meanwhile, the three suspects were earlier charged on violations of RA 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
