Following a recent visit to Long Beach, California, in the United States, to re-launch the “sister city” relationship with Bacolod City, City Councilors Em Ang and Caesar Distrito flew across the country to observe a legislative session of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, located in the state capitol of Harrisburg.
They were also provided a tour of the Pennsylvania State Capitol.
Distrito called the experience “fruitful;” while Ang noted, “I am privileged to have this opportunity to have a firsthand experience on political and cultural dynamics of Baltimore.”
During their visit, the city officials also met with Speaker Mike Turzai./WDJ
