After being trounced by Ceres-Negros FC, 7-0, over the weekend, Ilocos United FC coach Ian Gillan announced his support for the Negrense club as their AFC Cup campaign continues next month.
“The success of Ceres FC in the AFC Cup will also be a success for all of Philippine football,” he said. “We must give [them] all the support that we can give.”
Ceres is scheduled to meet S.League club Home United at the Jalan Besar Stadium on August 2./WDJ
