BAP: Banks in quake-affected regions operating normally

Following the recent earthquake that struck Leyte, the Bankers Association of the Philippine (BAP) released a statement to inform customers, banks branches in affected areas will continue to operate normally.
“Our member banks have advised its respective branches to strive delivering its services to the general public and accommodate all banking transactions,” the group said in a statement. “We endeavor to deliver normal banking operations, particularly in the areas that were most affected.”
On July 6, a 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck Leyte, near the town of Jaro./WDJ
