Four people were arrested by members of Police Station 1 (PS1) after they were caught selling and using illegal drugs at Purok Kingfisher, Barangay 16, Bacolod City late Tuesday evening.
Police identified the suspects as 37-year-old Arnold Hechanova; and three women, identified as Ramona Cuambot, 45, Aia Sorillo, 34, and Edna Ababa, 33.
PS1 commander, Police Senior Inspector Leo Estopa, said Hechanova was the primary target and is on the station’s drugs watchlist.
He said they immediately moved after he handed one small sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop, in exchange for P200.
The three women, meanwhile, were arrested as they were allegedly snorting illegal drugs during operation.
A search yielded more sachets of suspected shabu valued around P40,000, drug paraphernalia, and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P250.
All four suspects are facing illegal drugs charges and are detained at PS1./WDJ
