A man was killed after he was run over by a cargo truck late Monday evening at Bangga Pari, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City
Police identified the fatality as Reymund Gumban Dimzon, a resident of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City.
Traffic Management Unit (TMU) investigator, Police Officer 3 (PO3) Randy Gimena, said the victim was driving his motorcycle when he was accidentally sideswiped by a cargo truck driven by 47-year-old Romel Muyco.
The truck’s rear tire ran over Dimzon, killing him on the spot.
Muyco, meanwhile, was arrested by police and could face vehicular manslaughter charges./WDJ
