Ultron Extra recently edged out Sprint 4t Rider by one point, 81-80, in the 36-and-above division of the Fil-Sino Athletic Club Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.
With 4.2 seconds left on the clock, Arvin Gustilo landed a one-handed shot, five feet out, to seal the victory for Ultron Extra after Sprint 4t Rider led throughout the entire game.
Earlier in that final period, Sprint 4t Rider held a double digit lead.
Efraim Valencia led the come-from-behind victory with 23 points, followed by Gustilo with 19 and Cris Pascual adding 10.
In the 35-and-below division, Rev-X Pantera beat Sprint 4t Racer, 79-72, with Carlo Chu leading the win with 20 points./WDJ
