Based on official data, Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) spokesperson, Police Superintendent Gilbert Gorero, recently revealed the drug war has contributed to the deaths of 30 individuals in the Western Visayas.
He pointed out, drug suspects were killed after resisting arrest and fighting law enforcement.
Iloilo leads with the highest number of fatalities in the region with 16, followed by Antique with 10.
The said data is based on information recorded between July 1, 2016 and June 27, 2017./WDJ
