Governor Alfredo Marañon ordered Engineer Leo Galvez, Engineer IV to report to the Provincial Engineer’s Office, Motor Pool Division and perform his duties and responsibilities incumbent upon his position.
The order of Marañon addresses the complaint of Galvez that he was allegedly put on a floating status after he was assigned in the motor pool since December 16, 2014.
The Special Order for his return to the post was signed by the governor on June 2, 2017.
Galvez has filed a complaint before the Civil Service Commission and the Civil Service Commission for allegedly putting him on a floating status after he requested to be assigned at the Provincial Engineer’s Office.
Galvez has been complaining that although his request for transfer was granted but no specific job was assigned to him.
The Civil Service Commission has asked the Provincial Human Resource Office to form a Grievance Committee to handle the complaints of Galvez.
Galvez on the other hand has also filed an administrative case against Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa before the Office of the Ombudsman- Visayas for putting him in a floating status.
A supplier at the Capitol on the other hand has filed a complaint against Galvez due to pending payments after he allegedly failed to act on their documents when he was still assigned at the Inspection under the Provincial Administration Office./WDJ
