Football clubs from across Negros Occidental are expected to participate in the Negros First DFL Men’s Open Provincial Championships, set to begin this weekend, July 1, at the Pontevedra Sports Complex, the Sta. Maria Football Field in Talisay City, and the Sagay City Sports Complex.
The competition will be divided into three groups, the North Zone, Central Zone (Bacolod City), and the South Zone.
Sagay City FC hosts the North Zone, where they will compete against Escalante City, San Carlos City FC, Victorias City FC, and Cadiz City FC. Meanwhile, Wiseguy FC, Kandingan FC, STI-West Negros University, Giga Carlos Hilado Memorial State College FC, Villa Angela FC, I-Prime FC, and Bat-os FC will compete in the Central Zone; and Kabankalan FC, Himamylan City FC, Pontevedra FC, La Carlota FC, Dancalan Ilog FC, and Bago City Warriors will take part in the South Zone.
