Real Mangkas and the University of St. La Salle (USLS) were triumphant in the 11th Mayor Alonso Ubabalo Futsal Festival, winning the men’s and women’s competitions, respectively.
Real Mangkas defeated Pontevedra, 3-1, in the men’s open finals; while USLS beat St. Scholastica’s Academy, 1-0, in the women’s open championship.
The event seeks to develop future futsal players to represent the country in national and international competitions./WDJ
