Talisay City and Murcia were victorious in the Albee Cup Volleyball Tournament, winning the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively, with both sides defeating teams representing EB Magalona.
Talisay City won in straight sets, while it took Murcia five sets to claim the championship.
Remo Banhao of Talisay City was named “Most Valuable Player” on the men’s side, while Ailene Nepomuceno of Murcia took the honor on the ladies’ side./WDJ
