The third inmate who previously escaped from the Metro Bacolod District Jail (MBDJ) fell to police at Purok Sunrise, Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental, late Tuesday evening.
The inmate, identified as 38-year-old Marlon Molina, escaped on June 4, along with Noli Dega and Ebson Jaen, who have both since been caught.
A report by the Murcia municipal police found Molina was staying at his home in Barangay Blumentritt.
Police Senior Inspector Ronald Santillan subsequently ordered an operation to recapture him.
Molina, who has a pending criminal charge of robbery and a violation of RA 6539, or the Anti-Carnapping Act, has already been returned to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology./WDJ
