Public Safety Battalion commander for the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), Police Senior Superintendent Marlon Tayaba, is set to take the reins of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO).
“He is battle-tested,” said Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) director, Police Chief Superintendent Cesar Hawthorne Binag.
Tayaba will take over for Police Superintendent Harold Tuzon, who was axed from the post following the recent attack by the New People’s Army on the Maasin Municipal Police Station.
Police Senior Superintendent Christopher Tambungan is currently serving as temporary IPPO chief./WDJ
