A senior citizen was found dead by police inside his own house, Thursday afternoon, at Blk. 5, Maria Clara Road, Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City.
Police identified the fatality as 60-year-old Roy Villadelgado.
Police Station 8 (PS8) commander, Police Senior Insp. Wilfredo Benoman, Jr., said the victim’s daughter, 20-year-old Christine, came to her father’s house on Thursday.
The victim’s daughter did not receive any answer when she knocked on the door, prompting her to contact the police and village officials for help.
Benoman also said the victim’s remains were already in a stage of decomposition when they made the discovery.
The remains are scheduled to undergo autopsy to determine the cause of death, while police are figuring out if no foul play was involved./WDJ
