AA Electrical came out with a dominating performance on a 95-87 win over Capitol to take Game 1 of the Best-of-3 championship series in the ongoing D League-Boston Cup Basketball Tournament at the STI-West Negros University gym.

Ranier Palomares shot 10 points and Junvel Juayong added 6 points for AA Electrical’s 24-15 lead in the opening quarter.
Both squads played even in the second quarter, both producing 19 points.
AA Electrical led the half, 43-34.
In the third period, Dave Andog sizzled with 11 points and Klint Quires added 7 markers to anchor AA’s 20-point output, protecting their lead going to the playoff period, 63-60, despite Capitol’s 26 points.
Palomares paced AA Electrical with 19 points; Juayong, Abaring and Andog added 11 points each; Toleco – 10; and Medina and Quires – 9 apiece./WDJ
