The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Negros Island Region (BJMP-NIR) and the Cadiz City Police Station recently recaptured the second of three inmates who had escaped the Metro Bacolod District Jail-Special Intensive Care Area (MBDJ-SICA) through a joint operation.
After being on the run for 10 days, Noli Diga, who is in jail on drug-related charges, was recaptured at Purok Eucalyptus, Barangay Caduha-an, Cadiz City.
The first inmate recaptured was Ebson Jaen, who was injured from the jump. The remaining inmate, who was not named, remains at large.
Diga is now detained at the Talisay City Jail, while Jaen is at the Metro Bacolod District Jail Male Dorm Annex in Barangay Handumanan. Both escapees were detained at different jails to prevent retaliation from MBDJ-SICA inmates./WDJ
