Three men who carnapped an L300 van in Iloilo province claimed to be members of the New People’s Army (NPA).
A spot report provided by Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) said a van was hired to fetch a group in San Miguel, Thursday morning.
When the driver arrived, the three men declared a carnap and said they were members of the communist rebel group.
The driver initially thought the men were joking until one of them pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.
The driver was later tied up and the men fled with the van.
By Thursday afternoon, the vehicle was found in Oton./WDJ
