The Provincial Environment Management Office (PEMO) recently held its first Envi-Race, a prelude to their Provincial Environment Week celebration.
The first part of the race began last week, with representatives from Valladolid, Hinigaran, EB Magalona, Don Salvador Benedicto, Manapla, Cadiz City, Bago City, and Silay City participating.
Executive Assistant Edgar Billones spoke on behalf of Silay City Mayor Mark Andrew Arthur Golez, saying he was moved seeing environmental awareness among the youth becoming a trend.
“The youth, like you, should be congratulated for your environmental awareness,” he stated./WDJ
