New UNO-R lay administrators appointed The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) school board appointed new lay administrators for the 2017-2018 academic year. Among those appointed include Rev. Fr. Abraham Latoza, OAR at the director of basic education and UNO-R Integrated School principal; Rev. Fr. Persiuz Joseph Decena, OAR as religious education and campus ministry director; Dr. Owen Martir, CE as the dean for the College of Engineering; Dr. Ma. Riza T. Manalo as the dean for the Recoletos de Bacolod Graduate School; Dr. Carmenda Leonoras as Human Resource Development Office associate director; Engr. Christopher Taclobos as the university registrar; and Dr. Jasmin Parreño as Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) director. Meanwhile, following a memo by UNO-R president, Rev. Fr. Eduardo Celiz, Jr., the Colleges of Education and Criminal Justice Education both fall under the dean for the College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Annabee Magbanua-Claur./WDJ
