Following AA Electrical’s 68-66 defeat of Nena’s and BAPRO’s 89-79 win over Capitol, the two winners next meet each other in the Best-of-3 finals series of the 2017 D-League Basketball Tournament at the STI-West Negros University gym.
AA Electrical took an early lead, ending the first period up 20-16. However, a 19-6 run in the second quarter helped usher in a Nena’s 35-26 advantage.
AA Electrical came back in the third period with a 22-8 run, going into the final quarter ahead, 48-43.
Renier Palomares led the team to victory with 19 points.
In the other game, Malvin Pineda led BAPRO with 25 points, followed by Jun-Jun Romero with 20 and Buddy Eufre with 10./WDJ
