Responding to complaints of water supply shortages during a recent Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) forum, Bacolod Bulk Water Incorporated (BBWI) assured Bacolod City Water District (Baciwa) consumers round-the-clock water supply once bulk water projects are completed.
They also promised water supply would not be affected by adverse situation, such as power interruptions or outages.
“BBWI believes, as the city expands its development, the water supply requirement increases as well,” the company said in a statement.
They also pointed out, BBWI is fast tracking the completion of their water infrastructure projects.
BBWI noted they will be using surface water and project to deliver an initial capacity of 30,000 cubic meters per day in the first year, later ramping up to 150,000 cubic meters per day in later years.
They also assured consumers the recent Notice of Violation, issued by the Bacolod City Office of the Building Official (OBO), has already been taken care of./WDJ
