According to Victorias City Police chief, Police Superintedent Herman Garbosa, investigators confirmed there was foul play in the recent killing of a Grade 6 pupil in the city.
According to Garbosa, the suspects in the murder of 11-year-old Mark Anton Bilode of Barangay 20 are all minors, however, he is unable to name them.
Based on the recently released autopsy report, the victim sustained a fatal blow to the head, which was caused by a hard object.
Doctors also discovered several bruises across the victim’s body. They believe the victim was “made to suffer” before he was eventually killed.
Garbosa added, they are currently conducting a follow-up investigation into the incident in order to validate if the suspects were indeed minors.
Earlier last week, Bilode died at Hacienda Pusan, Barangay 20 after he was mauled by the suspects.
A plastic container of pili nuts was discovered atop Bilode’s chest, which police suspect may have been the cause of the incident./WDJ
