Joint members of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), City Special Operations Task Group (CSOTG), and Police Station 6 (PS6) confiscated P150,000 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation at Purok Fatima, Barangay 31, Bacolod City, Saturday afternoon.
Police identified the suspects as Samsodee Dimasangcai, 36; Gaonara Dimasangcai, 30; Amir Menor, 30; and Darrel Mifa, 30.
CDEU chief, Police Inspector Adrian James Albaytar, said Samsodee was identified as a street level drug target by the BCPO, while the others were arrested after they were caught repacking shabu in the primary target’s residence.
Authorities report cops entered the house after the suspect handed one big sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000.
A search of the suspect’s residence further yielded eight big sachets of suspected shabu, P1,500 worth of suspected drug money, and several items used for the repacking of the illicit substance.
Police initially believed the value of the confiscated items was P800,000, although this was later corrected to P150,000.
All four suspects face illegal drugs charges and are detained at PS6./WDJ
