An 11-year-old kid died after being allegedly mauled by unidentified assailants at Hacienda Pusan, Barangay 20, Victorias City.
In a report by Bombo Radyo-Bacolod yesterday evening, the victim was identified by police as Mark Anton Bilode, a grade six pupil of Cuaycong Elementary School.
Based on a statement by the victim’s mother, Erlinda, she said her son left their house without telling where he is going and only found out after he was already gone.
The next day, the victim’s remains were found with several head wounds, along with cuts and bruises across his body.
A plastic container of pili nuts was discovered atop Bilode’s chest, which police suspect may have been the cause of the incident.
Investigators from the Victorias City police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident./WDJ
