A vintage bomb was found at a construction site along a bridge in Barangay 12, Bacolod City on Tuesday afternoon.
An official report by Police Station 1 (PS1) said 29-year-old Argie Garfil, a foreman of the construction site, discovered a round of 105mm artillery.
Garfil immediately ordered the workers to halt and notified barangay officials and the police of the discovery.
Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) bomb technician Demy Montoya was later called by police in order to recover the explosive safely, which was determined to have been used during World War II.
The device is now under the possession of law enforcement./WDJ
