A fire broke out on Thursday morning at Purok Sun Flower, Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, resulting in the destruction of two homes.
Based on a report by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Bago City, the victim, Imelda Tasic Boyonas, said she was cooking lunch when a fire started on the second floor of their house, prompting her and her family to evacuate.
An abandoned house owned by Boyonas’ sibling, who had already passed, was also gutted by the blaze.
BFP-Bago City said there were no casualties in the incident, and are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze and evaluating the value of the damage./WDJ
