The Social Security System (SSS) held Employers’ Day earlier this week at SM City Bacolod, which gathered around 100 local employers, where the government agency gathered feedback and comments regarding their programs and services.
“We invited employers because they are the ones who see the gray areas of SSS and how we can improve our programs, especially online,” said department manager III Fernando Nicolas.
He reported a common concern of employers was the benefit program, noting, employers do not process the necessary documents immediately, which leads to problems.
SSS also plans to hold similar activities across Negros Island Region (NIR), with branches in Victorias City and Bacolod City-East slated to hold similar programs in the third quarter of this year./WDJ
