BAPRO and Nena’s took the last two spots in the ongoing 2017 D-League Basketball Tournament at the STI-West Negros University gym, defeating Akasya, 62-58, and Blitz, 81-65, respectively.
Akasya led throughout the game, leading 42-35 going into the final period.
In the fourth, Malvin Pineda scored 10 points, while Tobi Nunez added seven.
Pineda and Jhun-Jhun Romero led BAPRO scoring 13 points apiece, alongside Nunez, who scored 10.
In the other game, Remor Taronas led Nena’s with 15 points, Badong Perez added 14, and Mark Yee scored 13./WDJ
