The Iloilo Provincial Board unanimously approved a supplemental P682.6 million budget earlier this week at the request of Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Sr.
The fund, allotted towards the 2017 fiscal year, will be primarily used for Provincial Capitol employee salary hikes
Additionally, district hospital improvements will also be funded, along with P200 million for the first phase of the Provincial Capitol complex redevelopment and to vacate regional Philippine Red Cross and Department of Tourism (DOT) offices./WDJ
