Four Bacolod City-based taekwondo students recently took home bronze medals at the 2017 Asian Cadet Taekwondo Championships and Asian Cadet Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Mary Angeline Alcantara medaled in the 44 kg category; while Jamie Hannah Agaloos, Leigh Andee Rodriguez, and Arianne Espida were awarded in the Team Poomsae category.
Espida also earned bronze in the kyorugi event./WDJ
