Over 1,000 provided with free transportation in Iloilo City

In light of the ongoing transport strike, the free transportation provided by the Iloilo City government has catered to over one thousand stranded commuters.
Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog thanked the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Department of Health (DOH), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), among other national agencies for offering a free ride during the two-day transport strike.
The strike is expected to end today, June 6. /WDJ
