A suspected pusher was arrested by Kabankalan City police after he was caught selling illegal drugs along Tayum Street, Barangay 4, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, early Wednesday evening.
Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Kenneth Anthony Gelvezon, Jr., a resident of the said barangay.
Kabankalan City police said Gelvezon was arrested after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu, worth P500, to an undercover police officer.
Upon being searched, Gelvezon yielded two more elongated sachets of suspected shabu, a disposable lighter, and suspected drug money amounting to P3,173.
The confiscated evidence was later forwarded to the regional crime laboratory in Bacolod City, where the value of the illicit substance determined to be around P10,000.
Gelvezon faces illegal drugs charges and is detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station./WDJ
