During their recent meeting at the Nature’s Village Resort in Talisay City, the Provincial Development Council (PDC), presided over by Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr., approved an annual investment plan (AIP) worth P8,106,343,200.
Social development is expected to receive the largest portion, with around P3.8 billion allotted. General public service is set to receive around P1.8 billion and infrastructure development P1.5 billion.
The council also endorsed the Barcelona Port Rehabilitation and Development Project in Escalante City worth P170 Million.
