Gambling den raided by Silay City police

A house allegedly being used as an illegal gambling den was raided by members of the Silay City Police Station last Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of 12 people.
In an official report by Police Regional Office-18 (PRO-18), operatives from the Silay City police received information that a house owned by Magnon Espinosa in Sitio Maninihon, Barangay Guinhalaran was being used as a gambling den.
Police moved in after confirming the twelve were engaging in the illegal numbers game Cara Y Cruz.
A search of the premises yielded several units of gambling paraphernalia and suspected bet money amounting to P843.
The twelve suspects face illegal gambling charges and are currently detained at the Silay City Police Station./WDJ
