The Provincial Capitol addressed security concerns and other complaints at the Pala-Pala Food market by deploying new security personnel and adding to their detail.
Venchito Magalona, head of security at the Provincial Capitol, said IloBac Security Agency, the agency contracted by the province to previously oversee the Pala-Pala area, has replaced the “blue guards.”
The provincial government also deployed four watchers, who have been assigned two shifts at Pala-Pala to closely monitor the security and address complaints from tenants.
Guards previously assigned to the area were accused of allegedly extorting from tenants.
“The governor ordered a stop to those reported activities,” Magalona stressed. “That is why he approved the deployment of four additional watchers in the area.”/WDJ
