Three drug suspects were arrested following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Malingin, Bago City, Sunday afternoon.
Police identified the suspects as 26-year-old Jornel Selotero, Francisco Seloterio, 57, and Eliezer Montano, 29.
Based on a report released by the Bago City Police Station, the operation was conducted by members of city’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Island Region (PDEA-NIR).
Bago City police said both Seloterios were previously on the station’s drugs watchlist and were also urged by the police to cease their illegal drug activity, through Oplan Tokhang.
However, neither suspects surrendered.
Police recovered a total two grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated market value of P20,000; a motorcycle; and suspected drug money worth P440.
All three suspects face illegal drugs charges and are detained at the Bago City Police Station./WDJ
