Hanah Taekwondo student headed to Vietnam for cadet tournament

Mary Angeline Alcantara of Hanah Taekwondo will represent the Philippines in the upcoming 2017 Asian Cadet Taekwondo Championships and Asian Cadet Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, set to take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from June 3 to 9.
Alcantara most recently won gold at the 2017 Palarong Pambansa in the grade school girls (152-160cm) kyorugi division, along with a silver in the team poomsae event.
For the event in Vietnam, she is set to take part in the 44 kg category, drawn against Tasneem Albaraawi of Palestine, Aida Yessenberdikyzy of Kazakhstan, Maryam Vasilehbar of Iran, and Yu-Syuan Hua of Chinese Taipei. /WDJ
