As Ceres-Negros FC faces a do-or-die 2017 AFC Cup Zonal semifinal match against Malaysian outfit Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) tomorrow at the Panaad Park and Stadium, Ceres Administrator Nicholas Golez believes the home crowd will boost the club, saying, 20 to 30 percent of the team effort is because of the home crowd.
“We can beat them at Panaad,” he stated. “We are playing with heart.”
Meanwhile, Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. also expressed confidence in having the return leg at home.
“We can, for sure, do very well in Bacolod City, in front of our supporters,” he said. “It will be really good game.”
JDT took the first leg of the series, 3-2.
Tickets for tomorrow’s match will be distributed at 4:00 p.m. today at the Panaad Secretariat. /WDJ
